Strategic Plan 2022-27 – Engage, Ignite, Empower
After extensive consultation with community partners, rightsholders, parents, caregivers, learners and staff throughout the school district, the Board of Education launched its visionary 5-year strategic plan – Engage, Ignite, Empower – in June 2022. Guided by the district’s mission, vision, and values, as well as by the First People’s Principles of Learning, the plan now presents clear direction for the next several years in pursuit of three overarching goals:
- All Students Realizing Their Full Potential
- Honouring and Respecting Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Well-being Within the Educational Community
An annual Action Plan will now support the implementation of the Board’s vision, with key indicators of growth identified across the three goal areas to help measure the impact of the district’s efforts.
