Aaron’s report this month features an overview message sharing with the arrival of Spring weather in the Northwest there are increased opportunities for teachers and their classes to get outdoors and learn from the land, the value the school district places on student voice through the participation of grades 4-12 students over the last few months in the annual perception surveys and in-person Student Forum events, and the school district’s Budget Working Committee coming together in early May as we plan for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year to provide input on the allocation of funds for next school year’s operating budget.
