Northern Health has established a new communication pathway for Kindergarten to Grade 12 schools called the Northern BC Healthy K to 12 Schools Newsletter, applicable for all Northern BC schools, students, and their families.

Please find links to the newsletters issued since its development in January 2022:

This newsletter encourages the promotion of healthy schools and other information and resources about a variety of health topics.  Northern Health’s aim is to publish two issues each school year for Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer.

It is best to view the newsletter in electronic format as there are web links built into the document, however, QR codes are used within the document for various websites and resources.  Steps on using QR codes are detailed on page 3 of the newsletter.

Should you have questions, concerns, or ideas for future topics for the newsletter, email HealthySchools@northernhealth.ca.

Kindly note this newsletter will also be distributed to parents/caregivers by School Principals for their information.
