An unexpected power outage in sections of the Terrace Horseshoe area due to a vehicle accident that occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. this morning, June 24, has resulted in no power at Suwilaawks Community School.
BC Hydro Crews are on site, however, power will not be restored until later this afternoon or evening, therefore, Suwilaawks Community School will be closed for today, June 24. School administration is in the process of contacting parents and caregivers regarding today's school closure.
Note that other CMSD Terrace schools are not impacted by the power outage at this time.
