At the request of Julia Jacobs, Director of Instruction, Indigenous Education, I am appointing Ms. Jacobs to the position of Principal of Mount Elizabeth Middle/Secondary School (MEMSS) effective April 1, 2022.
Ms. Jacobs wishes to return to MEMSS to have more direct contact with students.
While the Leadership Team is going to miss her leadership at the District level, we respect and honour her wish to be more closely affiliated with learners.
A Canada-wide search will be initiated for the position of Director of Instruction, Indigenous Education.
We extend our congratulations to Ms. Jacobs on her appointment and wish her every success in her new position.
