Please note the following important notations regarding COVID-19 requirements relating to bus transportation within Coast Mountains School District 82 for the 2020-2021 School Year:

 

  • All middle and secondary school students are required to wear a mask or a face shield on school buses.  Exceptions will also be made for students who cannot tolerate masks for health reasons.
  • Students should wash their hands before leaving home prior to taking the bus, when they leave school before taking the bus, and when they arrive home.

Important Messages for Terrace Parents/Guardians:

Due to ongoing bus driver shortages, Terrace Bus Runs #6 and #7 will be combined until further notice using the morning and afternoon pick-up schedule for Bus Run #6 as provided below:

  • Bus Run #6 – Lakelse Lake/Jackpine (Senior/Middle/French)
  • Bus Run #7 – Lakelse Lake/Jackpine (Primary/Elementary)

Parents/guardians are asked to contact the School District’s Transportation Department at (250) 638-4418 for more information or if they have any questions.

A friendly reminder … the procedure to be followed by parents/guardians should they have questions or concerns regarding bus routes:

1) Contact your child’s/children’s School Principal,

2) Contact the Operations Manager at Diversified Transportation bus lines at 250-635-7042 or 1-855-538-5287 for out of town.

Terrace:  School buses will only be provided to students living outside the city boundaries.  Those students living within city boundaries should consult the Terrace Regional Transit System for scheduling information and rates at 250-635-2666.
