CMSD82 News Release – Julia Jacobs, Vice Principal Cassie Hall Elem. School Appointment  (PDF Format)

 

Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Jacobs to the role of Vice Principal at Cassie Hall Elementary School effective September 1, 2017.

Julia currently holds the position of District Literacy & Aboriginal Education Coordinator, a role she has held since September 1, 2016. She previously held a teaching position at Kildala Elementary School from 2011 to 2016 and also provided Teacher Teaching-on-Call coverage for three years prior to her teaching assignment. Julia has held various teaching positions in different schools and districts throughout B.C. prior to her tenure with Coast Mountains School District giving her insight and an adaptive approach to education and the different needs and diversities of staff and students.

She holds a Master of Education Degree through the Vancouver Island University and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of British Columbia.

Julia has always demonstrated passion in her profession, an understanding and respect for local diverse cultures and the importance of community involvement in making a difference in the lives of young people. She is a passionate advocate for student success and has a reputation for bringing an enthusiastic, team-focused approach to everything she does.

We welcome Julia to her new role as Vice Principal at Cassie Hall Elementary School and extend to her every success as she pursues this exciting career change.
