CMSD82 Internal Release – Sad News – Jim Lambright – Nov. 23, 2017  (PDF file format)

It is with heartfelt and profound sadness that we inform employees of the passing of Cathy Lambright’s husband and love of her life, Jim Lambright on November 23, 2017. Jim passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Cathy retired from Coast Mountains School District in June 2016 following 28 years of dedicated service as a Teacher within the Terrace and Thornhill communities. Currently she is a Teacher Teaching On-Call with the school district. A passionate union advocate, Cathy held the positions of Co-President with the Coast Mountain Teachers’ Federation and President of the Terrace District Teachers’ Union for many years.

The loving care and support of their daughters provided great comfort and joy to Jim and Cathy during his illness. Jim was cared for at home until his passing fulfilling his wishes including seeing all his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Cathy and her family are planning a Celebration of Life in memory of Jim at their home located at 4017 Monroe Street in Terrace on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences go out to Cathy and her family. Their sadness and loss is shared by their many friends within the Coast Mountains School District family and the communities of Terrace and Thornhill.

Jim will be dearly missed by all, especially by those people who had the privilege to know him personally.
