Parents, Guardians & Caregivers,
As detailed in the attached letter received from the Deputy Minister of Education addressed to all Superintendent of Schools on June 13, 2014, the expectation of the Ministry is that report cards will be generated for Grade 12 students and that classroom marks will be submitted to the Ministry data system for preparation of transcripts.
The compilation and submission of final grades for Grade 12 students is required to facilitate entry into the school data system by June 20, 2014.
With respect to other grades, the expectation of the Ministry is that parents will have access to the information they need concerning their child’s progress at school.
The Ministry staff will continue to keep all school districts informed as circumstances change.
