CMSD82 News Release – Manager of Projects Appointment, Greg Porter – August 1, 2020  (PDF Format)


Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Porter to the new position of Manager of Projects within the Facility Services Department effective August 1, 2020.

Greg moves into his new role from the position of Manager of Maintenance Services, a position he has held since April 28, 2014.  He holds three Red Seal Trades certifications and certification through the University of Northern British Columbia in Project Management.

Greg joined the school district in June 2013 in the position of Electrician/Heating Technician and has proven to be a valuable member of the school district’s Maintenance Team.

The Manager of Projects plays a key role in the operation of the school district and we are pleased to have an individual with Greg’s experience and a strong maintenance background assuming this role.

The school district is now actively seeking a Manager of Maintenance Services and will conduct a search beginning this week.

We extend our congratulations to Greg on his appointment and wish him every success in his new position.
