The Coast Mountains Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Cameron MacKay to the position of Director of Human Resources effective January 1, 2014.
Currently the Principal of Caledonia Secondary School, Mr. MacKay is a highly respected, long time educator in the school district. He holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Victoria and a Master of Education Degree from the University of Northern British Columbia in curriculum and instruction.
Cam assumed the role of Principal at Caledonia in 2005, following many years of outstanding classroom teaching. His broad experience base supervising teaching and support staff combined with his reputation as a team builder and a straight shooter will serve him well in his new role.
Coast Mountains School District is very fortunate to have an individual of his calibre joining the District Leadership Team.
