CMSD82 News Release – H.R. Officer Appointment, Denise McGillivray, July 1, 2020  (PDF format)

 

Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Denise McGillivray to the position of Human Resources Officer on a permanent basis effective July 1, 2020. Denise has been performing that role as Acting Human Resources Officer since October 2019.

Denise joined the school district in 1998 as the Careers Program Secretary at Caledonia Senior Secondary School. She assumed the temporary role of School Secretary at Cassie Hall Elementary School for the 2000-2001 school year before returning to Caledonia Senior Secondary School in the position of Bookkeeper. In August 2009, Denise assumed the role of Accounts Payable Clerk within the Finance Department. She assumed the position of Payroll Clerk for Teachers/Exempt Staff in June 2013, a position she held until her appointment in October 2019 to the Acting Human Resources Officer role.

Denise’s reputation with the school district is characterized by hard work, reliability and a professional approach to her work.

Her experience, skills and background knowledge of the school district in the support staff roles she has held over the past twenty years complements Denise’s role within the Human Resources Department.

We congratulate Denise on her permanent appointment and wish her continued success in her role as Human Resources Officer!
