More than 30 students, representatives of community organizations, and Indigenous and education partners participated in the fourth community roundtable on anti-racism in education to discuss the K-12 Anti-Racism Action Plan and work to address racism in education.

CMSD82 News Release – Hazelton Secondary School Principal Appointment – Paul Boisvert (PDF Format)

The Board of Education for Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Boisvert to the position of Principal at Hazelton Secondary School.

Currently the Interim Principal at Hazelton Secondary School, Paul will assume the permanent principalship position effective August 1, 2021.

Paul’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Education degree from the Lakehead University in Ontario. He is working towards his Master of Education degree in Leadership through Queen’s University.

Paul is a team player and a strong advocate for the success of all learners. His work in Hazelton Secondary School has always portrayed an emphasis on putting students first, teamwork and building positive relationships. Paul has a deep respect for local Gitxsan culture and history and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of the young people of Hazelton.

We congratulate Paul on his appointment and we extend our best wishes for every success in his new position.
