CMSD82 Internal News Release – Lionel Brideson, BVS Principal Retirement – March 31, 2019

 

Coast Mountains School District wishes to announce the retirement of Lionel Brideson, Principal of Bear Valley School effective March 31, 2019. Lionel has chosen to retire following a natural break within the school year.

Lionel joined the school district in August 2016 in the position of Principal of Bear Valley School. Over his thirty-five year career within the education field, Lionel has held the role of Principal in seven different communities within the provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta and the Yukon Territory.

The school district is currently working on a decision to have a Temporary Administrator on site at Bear Valley School until the end of June 2019. This information will be communicated to parents/guardians and school district staff next week.

In the interim, Coast Mountains School District is actively seeking a new Principal for Bear Valley School and will be conducting a Canada wide search beginning next week.

The school district thanks Lionel for his years of service and wishes him a healthy and enjoyable retirement with his family.
