• B.C. grads, students to be celebrated by local artists, performers May 25, 2020
    British Columbia’s 61,000 Grade 12 graduates, along with kindergarten to Grade 11 students, will be the guests of honour at a special virtual graduation and end-of-school celebration.
  • Free, live coding workshops for kids May 24, 2020
    From creating online games to building websites, students now have access to free, live online coding workshops through the Ministry of Education website Keep Learning BC.
  • K-12 students to have optional in-class instruction on June 1 May 15, 2020
    Parents will have the choice of bringing their children back to class on a part-time basis this school year as part of BC’s Restart Plan, with the goal of returning to full-time classes in September 2020, provided it is safe to do so.

Please note the Regular Board of Education Meetings, except for the October, February and May Regular Board Meetings, are scheduled at 5:00 p.m. and are held in the Board Room at the Board of Education Office, 3211 Kenney Street (Building A), Terrace.  The October, February and May Regular Board Meetings will be held at 5:00 p.m. in Hazelton, Kitimat and Stewart respectively (meeting venues to be confirmed).
