CMSD82 2018-2019 Leadership Staffing Appointment – Paul Boisvert, HSS Vice Principal


The Board of Education for Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the leadership staffing appointment of Paul Boisvert to the position of Vice Principal at Hazelton Secondary School effective August 1, 2018.

Paul is an experienced and committed educator with a thorough knowledge of instructional and assessment strategies for learners including those from diverse and rich cultural backgrounds. He is currently serving as the Program Support Teacher (K-12) at Chief T’Selehye School in Fort Good Hope in the Northwest Territories (Sahtu District Education Council). In this capacity, he has had the unique experience to develop learner support expertise and delivery of these initiatives as a Team Leader.

Paul brings a diverse background and experience to his new position having held various teaching positions in Alberta, Ontario, the Northwest Territories and Poland. His work in schools has always portrayed an emphasis on putting students first and building positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the community with an understanding of and respect for local Indigenous culture, language and history.

Paul’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Education degree from the Lakehead University in Ontario. He has plans to commence working towards his Master of Education degree.

Respected as an effective team builder and communicator who puts the learning needs of children first, Paul is eager to join the leadership and instructional team at Hazelton Secondary School and to build positive relationships ensuring a strong future for all learners.
