    Parents will have the choice of bringing their children back to class on a part-time basis this school year as part of BC’s Restart Plan, with the goal of returning to full-time classes in September 2020, provided it is safe to do so.

CMSD82 News Release – Temporary H.R. Officer Appointment, Denise McGillivray

 

Coast Mountains School District wishes to announce the appointment of Denise McGillivray to the temporary position of Human Resources Officer through to August 31, 2020. Denise will assume her temporary role effective October 21, 2019 following the transition from her current position.

Denise joined the school district in 1998 as the Careers Program Secretary at Caledonia Senior Secondary School. She assumed the temporary role of School Secretary at Cassie Hall Elementary School for the 2000-2001 school year before returning to Caledonia Senior Secondary School in the position of Bookkeeper. In August 2009, Denise assumed the role of Accounts Payable Clerk within the Finance Department. She assumed her current position of Payroll Clerk for Teachers/Exempt Staff in June 2013.

Her experience, skills and background knowledge of the school district in the support staff roles she held over the past twenty years will be an asset in her temporary role within the Human Resources Department.

Denise’s reputation with the school district is characterized by hard work, reliability and a professional approach to her work.

We extend our congratulations to Denise on her appointment and wish her in every success in her temporary position.
