CMSD82 News Release – Information Technology Manager Appointment – August 2015

imagesCAEKQ8XXCoast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Nutma to the position of Information Technology Manager. Andrew will assume his position once transition arrangements are finalized with his current employer.

Andrew is no stranger to any of the communities serviced by Coast Mountains School District having lived in Terrace for the past 26 years. He started his information technology career with Coast Mountains School District assuming the role of Lead Technician during the period of 1992 to 2005. Andrew expanded his career by joining Nisga’a School District #92 as the Information Technology Manager/Network Engineer in 2005, a position he has held for the past 10 years.

His technical background reflects numerous certifications and qualifications in all of the major operating systems and years of experience with computer technology including a Diploma in Electronics. Respected by his colleagues as an effective and energetic team builder and communicator, Andrew is eager to begin to form the relationships that will make it possible to continue the good work already taking place in the school district, while enabling him to play a key role in ensuring a strong technology future for Coast Mountains’ learners and schools.

The Information Technology Manager plays a key role in the operation of the school district and Coast Mountains School District is pleased to have an individual with Andrew’s qualifications and experience joining the Coast Mountains’ team.
