CMSD82 Board of Education Holiday Season Message – December 17, 2020  (PDF Format)

Dear CMSD82 Staff, Parents/Guardians and Partner Groups,

2020 has been a year unlike no other with the pandemic changing all our lives, as we have never seen before.  The Board of Education applauds our administrators, teachers and all staff who work daily to have our schools welcome our students.  We greatly appreciate how you and our community partners ensure our schools nurture caring relationships, safety, connections and a sense of belonging in all our school communities.

The Board of Education extends its sincere appreciation to each of you for the contributions you make to the success of our learners.  We know this very different time can be stressful as well as a time where we are being compelled to evaluate how we spend our time.  Please continue to reach out to each other, check in, and see if help is needed, and most importantly, reach out for yourself if you are struggling.

In this very different holiday season and a time where the future continues to be unsettled, we wish this Winter Break to be a time of reflection, rejuvenation and restorative rest for you.

On behalf of the Board of Education, we extend best wishes for a safe, restful and peaceful holiday season.  May you and your family have a happy and healthy New Year!
