For your information … we share a link to the Superintendent’s Report to the Board as prepared by our Superintendent of Schools, Janet Meyer and presented at the virtual Regular (Public) Board of Education Meeting held on Wednesday, December 16.

CMSD82 Superintendent Report to the Board – Dec. 16, 2020

This month’s theme is “COVID-19 Strategies & Support During Winter Break and Going Forward” … during these very challenging times for our staff, students, families, partner groups and school communities, we share support resources and avenues for people should they require assistance over the holiday season and going forward.  The COVID-19 Self-Assessment rubric shared by Superintendent Meyer in her report is an extremely useful tool.  The rubric likens itself to what we are doing with our students around social emotional learning and self-regulation.  We strongly encourage our staff and families to use the suggested tools and strategies.

This report also highlights two good news stories entitled, “Hug in a Bag and Christmas Kindness” andSpecial Christmas Mailbox Deliveries”.

Should you have questions regarding the December 16 Superintendent’s Monthly Report to the Board, please do not hesitate to contact Carole Gagnon, Executive Assistant at the Board of Education Office at (250) 638-4401 for assistance.
