CMSD82 New Release – 2022-2023 Staffing News, Cassie Hall Elementary School Administrative Change – Aug. 1, 2022

 

I am writing to share with you the following change in the administrative structure at Cassie Hall Elementary School effective August 1, 2022.

Pamella Groves, current Principal at Cassie Hall Elementary School, has decided to return to the classroom in a Counselling position effective August 1, 2022.  While the Leadership Team is going to miss Pam’s leadership at the District level, we respect and honour her wish and extend our sincere appreciation for her valuable contributions and efforts made in her leadership role.  We wish Pam every success in her new position.

The Board of Education for Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Annette McAlpine to the position of Principal at Cassie Hall Elementary School effective August 1, 2022.

 

Annette joined the School District on August 1, 2021 in the role of Vice Principal at Cassie Hall Elementary School.  Annette has always demonstrated passion in her profession, an understanding and respect for local diverse cultures and the importance of community involvement in making a difference in the lives of young people.  She is a passionate advocate for student success and has a reputation for bringing an enthusiastic, team-focused approach to everything she does.

 

Annette is currently enrolled in the Professional Master of Education Program at Queen’s University with a focus on Curriculum and Assessment including coursework in Indigenous Studies.  She is scheduled to complete the program this summer.  Annette holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from Brock University and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University.

 

We congratulate Annette on her appointment to the position of Principal of Cassie Hall Elementary School and extend our best wishes for every success in her new role.
