CMSD82 News Release – Manager of Finance Appointment, Lynda Lang – January 1, 2019

 

Coast Mountains School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Lynda Lang to the position of Manager of Finance effective January 1, 2019.

Lynda has served in the role of Accountant within the district’s Finance Department since September 2016. The experience and knowledge she gained in this role as well as her demonstrated abilities and skillset will serve her well in her new position as the Manager of Finance.  Lynda’s previous experience includes working as an Accounts Payable Clerk from 2012 to 2016 in the Finance Department and as a Bookkeeper at Skeena Middle School from 2009 to 2012.

Her background includes a Business Technology Certificate with specialization in computerized accounting and a Business Administration Certificate from the Northwest Community College in Terrace. Lynda also holds a Business Administration Diploma with a focus on finance from the Camosun College in Victoria.

Lynda has a reputation for being a hard worker and for bringing a team focused approach to everything she does.

We extend our congratulations to Lynda on her appointment and wish her every success in her new position.
